Genetic Service Coordinator
Catherine (Cathy) Bolt grew up in Anderson, South Carolina. She graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she received her degree in sociology and anthropology. Cathy has had experience in crisis counseling in a variety of settings. She joined the staff of the Greenwood Genetic Center in December 2000 and is the Genetic Service Coordinator for the Upper Piedmont Region of South Carolina. Cathy serves the Departments of Disabilities and Special Needs in Greenville, Spartanburg, Oconee, Pickens, Union, and Cherokee counties. In addition, she also coordinates the clinics for Union and Cherokee County Health Departments.
