Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation

The creation of the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation marks an important milestone in the Greenwood Genetic Center's connection with the community. As the outreach arm of the Center, all funds raised by the Foundation go toward the work of the Greenwood Genetic Center. The Foundation stands on two overriding principles: people affected by these conditions feel the greatest passion for this mission; and, one of the instincts wired into our humanity is the desire to give back. Simply put, philanthropy is in our DNA.

Families and professionals have a long history of supporting the Center's work by creating support groups and sharing knowledge. But the frontline work, by necessity, must be performed by the doctors and researchers. Through the Foundation, families and supporters finally get a chance to drive the treatment and research of genetic disorders and birth defects. Donors and volunteers become partners in the search for a cure, treatment or preventive measure. Even if we can't reverse a particular family's condition, we can still give back to help the next generation. For those families who will need us in the future, the time is now.

Our services include:

  • Diagnostic Services
