The field of medical genetics impacts nearly every aspect of personal health and wellness. This makes the education of students, teachers and health care providers as well as the general public a significant challenge and responsibility. The Division of Education at the Greenwood Genetic Center strives to provide educational opportunities and resources for individuals and groups at all stages of their formal education and beyond. Our mission is to develop understanding of genetics and promote genetic literacy.

ACMG Summer Scholar Program

GGC has been approved to host a medical student for a six week summer program to provide exposure to the field of Clinical Genetics. Applications are due by March 28, 2014. Applicants must be completing their first year of medical school.
