The field of medical genetics impacts nearly every aspect of personal health and wellness. As a result, we consider it our significant responsibility to educate students, teachers, health care providers, and the general public. Our education division provides opportunities and resources for individuals and groups at all stages of their formal education and beyond.
Our mission is to develop understanding of genetics and promote genetic literacy.
Beverly Arthur, Jennifer Mestres, Barbara Roberts, and Jennifer Rogers' final projects from the summer teachers' course was selected to become a GGC lab module! Their project on Parkinson's Disease entitled "Is the Path of Your Life Determined by Your Genes?" will be adapted for student use and will be available in 2016!
