GGC to Host SC Genetics Conclave - "Genetics of the Heart"

The Greenwood Genetic Center will be hosting the South Carolina Genetics Conclave on Friday, February 3, 2012 on the Greenwood campus. The focus of this one-day program is "Congenital Heart Disease: Genetics of the Heart."


Race the Helix Organizers Present Check to SC Birth Defects Foundation

December 28, 2011 - Race the Helix organizers, Stephen and Jodi Shenal, presented a check to the SC Birth Defects Foundation on Wednesday. The 5K run/walk was held this fall to raise funds and awareness to benefit the Greenwood Genetic Center. The Shenals' 1-year-old daughter, Ryleigh, was diagnosed at GGC with a rare chromosome deletion.
