GGC to Host SC Genetics Conclave - "Genetics of the Heart"

The Greenwood Genetic Center will be hosting the South Carolina Genetics Conclave on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 8:30am-2:40pm at the Curry Conference Center in the JC Self Research Institute on GGC's Greenwood campus. The focus of this Conclave is "Congenital Heart Disease: Genetics of the Heart".

The program will feature speakers from GGC's faculty as well as guest lecturers including Tom Sadler, PhD, noted embryologist and author of the widely used text, Langman's Medical Embryology, now in it's 12th edition.

Additional guest speakers include Tony Hlavacek, MD, Andy Wessels, PhD, Scott Bradley, MD and Philip Saul, MD all from the Medical University of South Carolina and Cynthia Moore, MD, PhD from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
