High School Student Shadowing Program
The faculty and staff of GGC believe that students at the high school level should be encouraged and exposed to the vast opportunities in the field of genetics. Qualified students can experience a one-day shadowing opportunity at GGC in the areas of diagnostic laboratory testing, research and clinical genetics.
Summer Internship Program for Undergraduate Students
The Greenwood Genetic Center offers a summer internship program for highly qualified college students. The program provides seven stipend positions each summer. Each internship lasts 8-10 weeks. Preference is given to rising juniors and seniors; however all applications will be reviewed and considered. Potential candidates will be contacted directly by a GGC faculty member for interviews.
