Linda is a registered and licensed dietitian whose
professional career has included public school and college teaching,
management, and medical nutrition therapy for children and adults with a
variety of medical conditions – cleft palate, cystic fibrosis,
in-born-errors of metabolism, diabetes, and cerebral palsy. Linda joined
the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2007 from the South Carolina Department
of Health and Environmental Control where she was a dietitian for the
Children’s Rehabilitative Program for 24 years.
She will work out of the Greenville and Columbia offices
where she provides medical nutrition therapy for persons with in-born
errors of metabolism. In metabolic clinics held in these offices, Linda
is responsible for nutrition assessments, diet treatment
recommendations, and follow-up for our clients. In addition, she
provides follow-up and coordination of nutrition services for our
metabolic clients between clinics.
Linda is a member of the Genetic Metabolic Dietitians
International and the American, South Carolina and Midlands Dietetic
Associations. |
